To sync Microsoft OneDrive for work or school files with your Mac, you'll need to get the Microsoft OneDrive app from the Mac App Store. This folder will be kept in sync with your Microsoft OneDrive for work or school storage changes you make in one place will sync with the other.

The Microsoft OneDrive sync app will download a copy of your files hosted in the cloud, and sync them to the specified location on your computer, in a local Microsoft OneDrive for work or school folder. When you have confirmed the settings, click Sync Now.

A "Launch Application" window should open.While in Classic View, at the top, click Sync.At the bottom left, click the link to switch to Classic View.Click Microsoft OneDrive to open Microsoft OneDrive.Do not click anything on the sign-in pages other than Next and Sign in.

You can view and update documents saved in the cloud using Microsoft OneDrive for work or school from just about anywhere. When you view the list of files in OneDrive for work or school in a Finder window, there will be a little cloud icon to the right of files in the cloud and a green circle with a checkmark to the right of files that have been downloaded locally and are synced with the files in the OneDrive for work or school cloud. Otherwise, the files will remain available in the cloud. If you open a file it will download it locally and sync up any changes you make to it. The application is configured for On-Demand syncing by default.
